Forza 2025

The “Forza” festival is, without a doubt, the most important event in my calendar. I wait for it all year long, counting down the days with excitement, and there’s simply nothing that could possibly stand in the way of me being there. But attending ForzaItalia.pl event isn’t just about that one special day spent in the garden of Rozalin Palace — it’s also about the months of preparation leading up to it. You see, I’m part of the team that helps bring this event to life.

So, if you're expecting an objective report, I’m afraid you’re in the wrong place. I’ll share a few facts here and there, sure — but this article is more of a personal take. If you're after cold, hard, unbiased accounts from the day, you’ll have to look elsewhere.

You may have come across reports from the Forzaitalia.pl festival on my website before, but it never hurts to revisit the basics. This annual celebration of Italian motoring traditionally takes place in the garden of one of many palaces that surrounds Warsaw. After visiting a few of those, the event finally found a place, where all those with petrol in their blood can feel at home – Pałac Rozalin. Scenic garden is for sure an important asset, but the team behind the venue truly understands the spirit of the gathering and the unique needs it brings.

The most important thing about this event is that everyone is welcome, no matter what they drive. Whether you arrive in a beautifully restored classic, new supercar or a rusty diesel Fiat, you’ll feel at home and enjoy the atmosphere. There’s something for everyone here, and that’s what makes it truly special.

But Forzaitalia is far from just a "park and pose" affair. It’s not about showing up, kicking tires, and heading home. The day is packed with attractions, including a navigation rally through the scenic surrounding countryside, a series of expert talks or a chance to put one’s knowledge about Italy and Italian cars to the test.

It’s already a tradition that at each edition of the event, a Polish premiere of a brand-new model happens. For several years, Alfa Romeo has graced us with something new to unveil, but this time Fiat stepped into the spotlight. For the first time in Poland, the wider public got a proper look at the all-new Fiat Panda — and the response was overwhelmingly positive. I have to agree it’s a solid piece of design work. It finally feels like the designers were given room to create, rather than just a task to assemble something from Stellantis generic parts. The new Panda was presented alongside a lovingly restored classic version, brought back to concours condition.

The highlight of every Forzaitalia gathering is, without question, the Concorso d’Eleganza. This is the moment when the crowd gathers to admire the most remarkable cars of the event up close — and to hear the fascinating stories behind them. It’s more than just a beauty contest; it’s a celebration of history, personality, and passion on four wheels.

The show is hosted by two experienced presenters who know exactly how to keep the audience engaged, blending facts with just the right amount of flair. Meanwhile, a panel of experienced judges evaluates both the cars and their crews, looking at everything from authenticity and condition to style and presentation.

In the end, two trophies are awarded: one for the most outstanding car, and another for the best-prepared team.

This year’s event saw an impressive turnout — over 400 cars officially took part in the gathering. And that number doesn’t even include the spectators’ vehicles, which filled every available parking space around the venue. The most interesting cars are traditionally parked in front of the Palace. This includes classic cars and the most spectacular examples of modern technology. Your vehicle may have different characteristics that will let you park it in this premium location. Is it a unique classic like Alfa Romeo SZ or Maserati Kyalami? Or maybe a rarely seen new car like the latest Granturismo? Or maybe it’s just a rusty Fiat Panda, but with incredibly high milage, showing that contrary to the myths, Italian cars can be really reliable.

The more popular models were parked on the meadow a few steps from the palace. But don’t think, that it’s just a parking for the boring 159s and diesel-powered Giuliettas. First – was there any boring Italian car ever produced? Let’s pretend to forget about the Fiat Albea and say: no. Secondly, participants of the event create a unique atmosphere of this space. Spontaneous picnics are being organized giving this part of the event it’s charm.

Very often, I have a problem in listing the most interesting machines or naming the ones I liked the most. But this time, one car really caught my eye. It’s quite common — almost expected, really — that classic car owners gravitate toward the sportier, better-equipped versions of a given model. And when someone does own a humbler variant, it's often been upgraded over time: flashy modern paint, bigger alloy wheels, maybe a few sporty bits borrowed from higher trims. As a result, the cars that were once considered ordinary — the real, everyday heroes of their era — have all but vanished. And those that do survive are often no longer quite as they once were.

That’s why I was genuinely thrilled to spot the Alfa Romeo Alfetta in Giallo Piper sitting proudly on skinny steel wheels. No showy modifications, no high-gloss paint jobs — just pure, honest simplicity. The period-correct tires were the cherry on top, completing the look with quiet confidence. This humble car really caught my heart.

But Forzaitalia.pl isn’t just about cars. Every year, we see a growing presence of two-wheelers, adding even more flavor to the mix. A long-time partner of the event, Ducati Polska once again brought out some of the most exciting models from their current lineup — but this time, they went a step further. They created a dedicated Ducatisti corner, a welcoming space for fans of the brand to connect, chat, and admire the machines up close.

And it wasn’t just the high-performance bikes that made an impression. The Vespa crowd turned out in style too, representing the more laid-back, vintage spirit of Italian motoring. But maybe you are interested in something from the other end of the weight range? An IVECO truck brought something new to the table.

As I said before, I’m not the one to objectivelly judge the event, but I strongly believe that Forza Italia 2025 confirmed its unique position among automotive events in Poland and developed its foundations for the growing international recogition.
